What to Bring

Before going to your appointment, please confirm you can adhere to the following guidelines.

Married Filing Jointly

Both spouses must be present

Identification

Valid, government-issued photo ID for you (and your spouse, if married)
IDs cannot be expired
Physical Social Security card or ITIN letter/card for everyone listed on the return
Failure to bring required ID or SSN/ITIN documentation will result in appointment cancellation

Tax Information

Birth dates for you, your spouse, and all dependents
All W-2 and 1099 forms and information for any other income
Health insurance forms: 1095-A, 1095-B, or 1095-C
Information for deductions and credits (including charitable contributions)
Daycare provider total paid and tax ID number (if applicable)
Copy of last year’s tax return (optional)

Refund Method

For direct deposit: bank account proof and routing number

Transcripts (if applicable)

Federal and state transcripts
Transcripts must be UNMASKED (no X’s or missing information)

Appointment Policy

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early
There is a 15 minute grace period. After that time the appointment will be canceled or rescheduled
Processing time varies, as every tax return is different
